About Chris Ford

Chris Ford is a Principal Consultant at Automated Environmental, bringing over 15 years of experience in environmental consulting across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and the pacific islands. He specialises in contaminated land management and environmental risk assessment, working with businesses in property, manufacturing, and waste industries on projects ranging from small-scale developments to large industrial operations.

Before joining Automated Environmental, Chris worked with EPA Victoria, gaining firsthand experience in regulatory processes and compliance frameworks. He has also supported multiple EPA Victoria-appointed auditors, providing technical expertise in environmental assessments.

Originally from New Zealand, Chris holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Management (Honours) from the University of Otago. His passion lies in helping businesses understand their environmental responsibilities, minimise their impact, and contribute to better environmental outcomes. He is committed to making environmental compliance accessible, ensuring organisations of all sizes can meet their obligations while protecting both human health and the environment.
